“My family and I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to you and all the instructors at CMT that made my current employment as an entry level machinist possible. Through patient guidance, applied wisdom, firm encouragement and experience of a lifetime in machining and manufacturing, Cosmo, Eng and their trusty T.A. Rob, prove students with no background in machining and modest mechanical aptitude\/experience can be trained to enter into manufacturing and begin a career toward becoming a machinist with work and determination.<\/em><\/p>

“My learning experience at the Center for Manufacturing Technology was amazing. I had the good fortune of training with several top-notch instructors who provided me with a wide range of knowledge and also with different perspectives related to machine shop practices. They took the extra time to explain while showing great patience. The quality time spent on each machine and the certifications I earned have given me the confidence and credentials needed to start my new career. Equally important was the camaraderie and friendships that I gained with the instructors, the administrators and my fellow students.”<\/em><\/p>

“I’m working at VCS Machine in Peabody ma.. An I got this job before I even graduated from the Center for Manufacturing technology.<\/em><\/p>

Utilizing resources, skill sets, and academic knowledge I was retaining while attending CMT, I responded to an internal email sent by Joanne the program director and applied for the job. Upon being hired I worked full time and still finished my training.<\/em>
I received a national certification in incident management, OSHA training, several certifications with the Society of mechanical engineers, a programming certification, and upon completion of my obligations; I\u2019m proud to say, I received my final certification from CMT.<\/em>
Trust me when I tell you, hard work really does pay off, but it starts with awesome, qualified, people that are willing to work as hard as you, to get you where you want to be!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>
