SolidWorks (CAD) software will be used to both illustrate and reinforce the student\u2019s blueprint reading skills.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15.0pt; line-height: 26.25pt;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">Lesson 1:<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">\u00a0Students will learn how to identify different line types and how to read One, Two and Three view drawings. In addition, students will learn the Solidworks user interface and the basic functionality of SolidWorks.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15.0pt; line-height: 26.25pt;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">Lesson 2:<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">\u00a0Tolerances and Dimensioning are the main focus of this lesson. Students will be taught different styles of Tolerances and Dimensions and how they are used.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15.0pt; line-height: 26.25pt;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">Lesson 3:<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">\u00a0Introduction to Section Views and part features such as countersink, counterbore, groove and slots.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15.0pt; line-height: 26.25pt;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">Lesson 4:<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">\u00a0In this lesson we\u2019ll be discussing fasteners, screw threads with an introduction to assemblies. We\u2019ll discuss the different types of threads and their designations<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15.0pt; line-height: 26.25pt;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">Lesson 5:<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">\u00a0Students will be introduced to Basic GD &amp; T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
