Center for Manufacturing Technology is an advanced manufacturing training facility located 10 miles northwest of Boston in Woburn, Massachusetts. We offer a wide range of customizable certificate-based programs to meet the training needs for manufacturing companies throughout New England. The programs are taught in our 3,000 sq./ft facility which includes classroom and hands-on lab space.

Currently the advanced manufacturing sector is experiencing a critical shortage in qualified candidates and Center for Manufacturing Technology has been helping to fill the void for over 10 years. Our parent company Custom Machine possess 50 years of precision advanced manufacturing.

Center for Manufacturing Technology allows employers the flexibility to schedule and deliver training based on their demands. This approach increases both the employer’s and employee’s level of success.

The instructor led classroom lectures are clear, concise, and designed to maximize each student’s learning potential. Hands-on labs give the student valuable experience with Manual and CNC Milling, Prototrak, Manual and CNC Turning, Inspection, Welding, Sheet Metal and Grinding machines. that are used throughout the machining industry. Our course schedules consist of day or evening classes, and we also offer limited online training.

The programs we offer are cost effective and target student’s skills making the transition from training to the production floor seamless. Additionally, our programs include critical foundational skills, and real time methodology of the industry. CMT’s Machining level 1 and level 2 are accredited training programs which gives students the opportunity to become certified by National Institute of Metalworking Skills.
